In more 'always the bridesmaid' news, myself and my writing partner Katie O'Brien found out that we were long listed for the BBC comedy script development program this year, but didn't quite make it this time. We're just finishing up a new draft of our sitcom and we're excited to see where it's headed next.

Ooops, I forgot to update my news section and now it looks as if there has been no news since 2015. There has! Amongst other things, I finished the first (OK, third) draft of my book and I have also written a sitcom pilot with the talented writer-performer Katie O'Brien. Watch this space.

I've just found out I am going to be part of the Black Box Festival, run by the lovely folks at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden, where I did my fringe show. It will be some time in January. Details to follow!

The Camden Fringe show is over and I had a fabulous run; I was truly humbled by the awesomeness of the audiences and all the people who took the trouble (especially those who came from afar and those who braved the tube strikes) to come. I got a nice review from Views From the Gods. Watch this space for more!

Exciting news! My sitcom pilot has got through the quarter finals of the Fresh Voices screenplay competition in the US. I will be redrafting it for the next heat. Fingers crossed!

Yours truly is taking over hosting duties on the first Wednesday of each month at Inspiral Camden's Wednesday Open mic night! I'll be there from the 5th November, but the night is there every Wednesday and is heaps of fun! Each one features on-the-night walk-ins, plus a featured act. More info
